Sri Trang Group Unites STA and STGT at “One Sri Trang CG Day 2026,” Leveraging AI to Strengthen Governance and Foster a Culture of Transparency, Driving Sustainable Progress for the Organization and Thailand’s Rubber and Glove Industries on the Global Stage

Sri Trang Group, led by Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA), the world’s largest fully integrated natural rubber company, and Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT), a global leader in sustainable rubber glove manufacturing and distribution, continued its annual flagship event, “One Sri Trang CG Day 2026” under the theme “Joining Forces to Strengthen Corporate Governance as the Foundation for Sustainability.” Combining an online event with interactive training, the programme incorporated artificial intelligence (AI) to make learning more engaging, accessible and relevant. More than 1,070 participants, including directors, executives, employees and workers from factories and branches nationwide, joined the event. The programme promoted understanding of and compliance with good corporate governance principles, business ethics, anti-corruption practices, conflict-of-interest management, the proper handling of inside information, and complaint-handling procedures. These principles form an essential foundation for transparent and accountable business operations that build confidence among all stakeholders.

The event opened with Mr. Vitchaphol Sincharoenkul, Executive Director of STA, and Ms. Jarinya Jirojkul, Chief Executive Officer of STGT, outlining the Group’s corporate governance policies and direction. These policies provide a framework for transparent operations, business risk prevention, effective traceability and sustainable growth in line with the organization’s vision and business objectives. Both executives emphasized that a culture of integrity and responsibility, rooted in Sri Trang’s core values (Core Value: STA), serves as a safeguard against risks and a foundation for stable, sustainable organizational growth amid economic and technological changes, natural disasters, competition, evolving global trade rules and an increasingly uncertain business environment.

Mr. Vitchaphol Sincharoenkul, Executive Director of STA, highlighted the importance of corporate governance in global trade, stating: “Transparency and good corporate governance are fundamental to business credibility, particularly within global supply chains, where stakeholders increasingly priorities raw material origins, traceability and responsible operations. Sri Trang Group is therefore committed to raising operational standards across every process so that our business partners, customers and stakeholders worldwide can be confident that every product comes from a transparent, traceable supply chain that supports our shared sustainable growth.”

Ms. Jarinya Jirojkul, Chief Executive Officer of STGT, elaborated on the importance of instilling ethical awareness among employees: “Building confidence among customers worldwide depends on more than product quality. It also depends on the integrity, responsibility and commitment of every employee to doing what is right. STGT therefore prioritizes embedding a corporate governance mindset into everyday work, because every action we take affects the trust that customers and stakeholders place in our organization. When everyone upholds the same principles, we can deliver both quality products and lasting confidence to customers around the world.”

A highlight of this year’s One Sri Trang CG Day 2026 was the introduction of a modern edutainment approach that made corporate governance learning engaging and easy to understand. The two-episode miniseries CG DAY SERIES: “The Domino Effect” presented case studies exploring risks in procurement, the giving and receiving of gifts, business hospitality, and the potential consequences of conflicts of interest, the misuse of inside information, and whistleblowing.

The programme also used AI to create learning materials on corporate governance, business ethics and anti-corruption through virtual characters and simulated scenario videos covering compliance with the code of conduct, acts of corruption, whistleblowing and complaint investigations. These relatable scenarios helped employees understand the consequences of their actions and identify appropriate responses. The initiative demonstrated how AI can support a culture of good corporate governance, encourage active participation in learning, and make governance topics accessible and relevant to personnel at every level.

A Live Quiz & Discussion session enabled participants to analyses scenarios and draw lessons on ethical decision-making in line with the Group’s code of business conduct and anti-corruption policy. The session also reinforced the policy of declining gifts during all festive occasions and promoted whistleblowing channels that priorities the protection of reporting individuals and confidentiality.

Following the event, Sri Trang Group will extend the programme through its ongoing online self-learning system, with the goal of achieving 100% completion of refresher training and knowledge assessments by personnel at every level across the organization within one month. This will help ensure that corporate governance principles are correctly applied in everyday work, in line with the requirements of the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC), including the highest three-star CAC Change Agent recognition, as well as national and international ESG assessment criteria.

Sri Trang Group firmly believes that good corporate governance is more than an option or a regulatory requirement; it is the true “foundation for sustainability.” Instilling integrity, responsibility and transparency in every employee will be a key driving force in advancing the organization and Thailand’s natural rubber and rubber glove industries with confidence and distinction in the global marketplace.
