
Ms. Jarinya Jirojkul, Chief Executive Officer of Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT), a global leader in the sustainable manufacturing and distribution of rubber gloves, stated that STGT has been certified as a Climate Action Leading Organization (CALO) by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization: TGO). This recognition reflects the Company’s strong commitment and active role in driving tangible greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction efforts to mitigate the impacts of climate change, while demonstrating leadership in organizational-level greenhouse gas management and climate responsibility. The CALO certification affirms that STGT has established a comprehensive greenhouse gas management system aligned with international standards, encompassing the preparation of GHG inventories, the setting of emissions reduction targets, as well as transparent, verifiable monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of performance.

In addition, STGT has declared commitment to supporting the achievement of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions at the organizational level by 2050 (Net Zero Emissions by 2050), in alignment with Thailand’s national policies and global climate objectives under the Paris Agreement. This commitment is being advanced through the Thailand Carbon Neutral Network, with a focus on enhancing energy efficiency, optimizing resource utilization, adopting environmentally friendly technologies and innovations, and promoting the active participation of employees and stakeholders across the entire value chain.
